Flamengo and Bahia reached the 2026 Copa do Brasil Feminina semifinals by different routes. Flamengo overturned a 2-1 first-leg defeat against Fluminense with a 3-1 second-leg win, progressing 4-3 on aggregate. Bahia defeated São Paulo twice, 2-1 and 1-0, for a 3-1 aggregate victory. The CBF draw on October 23 set Bahia vs Flamengo for the first leg and Flamengo vs Bahia for the return.

All four quarterfinal results in chronological order

Oct 15Flamengo vs Fluminense1-2Fluminense took the lead in the tie
Oct 16Bahia vs São Paulo2-1Bahia took the lead in the tie
Oct 21São Paulo vs Bahia0-1Bahia advanced, 3-1 on aggregate
Oct 22Fluminense vs Flamengo1-3Flamengo advanced, 4-3 on aggregate

This table covers only the quarterfinals of the 2026 women's competition. An individual match score should not be confused with the aggregate score across the tie.

Flamengo: progression required an aggregate comeback

In the first leg on October 15, Flamengo lost 2-1 to Fluminense at Estádio Luso Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro. Laysa scored for Flamengo, while Nath Rodrigues and Driely scored for Fluminense. That result left Flamengo needing to overturn a deficit in the return.

On October 22, at the same stadium but with Fluminense listed as the home side for the second leg, Flamengo won 3-1. Jucinara, Kaylane and Laysa scored for Flamengo, and Nath Rodrigues pulled one back from a penalty. Flamengo had Sofia sent off in the second half but held on to a scoreline that secured qualification.

The arithmetic across the tie is straightforward: Flamengo scored once in the first leg and three times in the second, making four; Fluminense scored twice and then once, making three. It was a comeback on aggregate, not a description of one single match.

Bahia: a first-leg lead built outside Salvador and extended away

Bahia opened their quarterfinal with a 2-1 win over São Paulo on October 16 at the Batistão stadium in Aracaju. Ángela Gómez and Isa Fernandes scored for Bahia, and Késia Senna replied. The game took place in Aracaju rather than Salvador, although Bahia were the designated home team.

In the return match on October 21 at Brinco de Ouro in Campinas, Bahia won again, this time 1-0. Cássia scored the only goal. Bahia therefore did not need to recover from a defeat: they extended their existing advantage to close the tie 3-1 on aggregate.

What the aggregate scores tell us, and what they do not

Both clubs played two matches. Flamengo scored four goals and conceded three; Bahia scored three and conceded one. The crucial distinction is the sequence: Flamengo fell behind and had to turn the tie around, whereas Bahia won the first leg and sealed qualification with another victory.

These figures describe the quarterfinals only. They are not sufficient evidence of technical superiority and do not establish a favorite for the semifinal, as the opponents and match circumstances differed. Neither tie was settled by a penalty shootout.

Bahia vs Flamengo: home legs and planned semifinal dates

At its October 23 draw, the CBF determined that Bahia will host the first leg, with a provisional date of November 4, 2026, and that Flamengo will host the return, with a provisional date of November 8. Both fixtures are part of the women's Copa do Brasil, not the men's competition.

As of the October 25, 2026 check, the confirmed information presented here is the provisional dates and home-team assignments. Exact kick-off times and semifinal venues remain subject to a subsequent official schedule. Hosting the return does not guarantee either team a place in the final.
