Servette vs OH Leuven: 13 conceded against a goalless attack

Before their 28 October meeting, Servette have conceded 13 and OH Leuven have scored none across two Women’s Champions League matchdays. Four results show why the sample requires caution.

Servette and OH Leuven approach their 28 October UEFA Women's Champions League 2026/27 Matchday 3 meeting with different problems. The Swiss side have conceded 13 goals across two league-phase matches, while their Belgian opponents have yet to score in the same phase. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:45 CET at Stade de Genève in Geneva, with Servette at home.

The contrast defines an important question ahead of the match, but it does not prove that Leuven will find it easy to attack or that Servette will keep conceding at the same rate. These numbers cover only the first two league-phase matchdays, completed by 1 October. They do not describe the entire qualifying campaign or either club's domestic season.

Four results explain the two figures

UEFA's official fixture list records the following scores. Goals scored, goals conceded and points are calculated from these two matches per team, awarding three points for a win and one for a draw.

TeamMatchday 1, 23/09Matchday 2, 01/10Goals forGoals againstPoints
ServetteServette 0-8 OL LyonnesHB Køge 5-1 Servette1130
OH LeuvenOH Leuven 0-0 RomaParis Saint-Germain 5-0 OH Leuven051

Servette therefore have two defeats and a goal difference of minus 12. OH Leuven have one draw and one defeat, a goal difference of minus five, and one point earned against Roma. Neither club had won a league-phase match by the 25 October 2026 cut-off for this analysis.

The eight-goal concession gap began on opening night

Servette's 13 goals conceded comprise eight at home to OL Lyonnes and five away to HB Køge. Leuven opened with a clean sheet against Roma before conceding five away to Paris Saint-Germain. As a result, the entire eight-goal gap in goals conceded between the teams arose on Matchday 1; both allowed five on Matchday 2.

That does not dismiss Servette's defensive problems, since they conceded in both fixtures. It does, however, rule out treating the cumulative totals as though the two clubs had faced identical opposition and produced two comparable performances. The sample is just two matches per side, against different opponents and with different home and away circumstances. Goals conceded measure actual goals, not the number or quality of chances allowed.

Leuven's goalless attack needs a precise definition

OH Leuven did not score against Roma or Paris Saint-Germain in the league phase. This does not mean the club failed to score throughout its European season. UEFA's match facts record a 4-0 qualifying win against TSC and goals in both qualifying games against Czarni. Servette also scored during qualifying before losing their two league-phase fixtures.

Mixing those stages would weaken the comparison. Both Servette's 13 goals conceded and Leuven's zero goals scored use the same scope: the opening two matches of the 2026/27 league phase. Servette's only goal in that period came in the 5-1 loss to HB Køge.

What remains open ahead of 28 October

Both teams are seeking their first league-phase win, although Leuven have already earned a point. UEFA also identifies this fixture as the clubs' first meeting in European women's competition and the first Swiss-Belgian encounter in the history of the Women's Champions League and its predecessor.

Each club has six league-phase fixtures in total, so four matches remain per team before Matchday 3. The available figures reveal two concrete weaknesses without determining the head-to-head result or predicting a goal tally. The venue and home-team status are confirmed in both clubs' official calendars. Analysis cut-off: 25 October 2026, before the 28 October match.
